Power cycle statistics are a relatively new entry into the Abit BIOS and they can be quite handy.

The main Abit EQ menu, the BIOS supplies you with various other screens of information on temperature, voltage and fan speed monitoring (seen below).

Temperature monitors show you on three different locations, with options to shut down the system based on criteria for each.

Voltage monitoring is all encompassing: from the CPU to chipset to power supply. 

The fan speed menu monitors six fans and allows you to set shutdown and warning sound indicators for them.

The FanEQ menus set up the preferences for the OTES cooling fans over the MOSFETs on the board as well as on the CPU, chipset and system fans.  Here you can adjust at what temperatures the fans turn on or speed up or slow down.  This is a nice piece of software that will allow you to lower the noise level of your system with some time spent tweaking in the BIOS.

With more than a dozen memory timings and latencies able to be modified here, the Abit Fatal1ty AN8 motherboard offers every last bit of overclockability to the user that knows their stuff.  But at the same time, the menu makes it easy to set different settings that beginning enthusiasts will want access to.
