Results: It isn't too surprising how well the GA-EP45T-Extreme performed throughout the tests. Compared to the DDR2 ECS P45T-A motherboard, the Gigabyte GA-EP45T-Extreme flexes its muscle and edges the P45T-A out of nearly every test. Only in the input/output tests for memory bandwidth and hard-drive bandwidth does the GA-EP45T-Extreme lose, which I suspect is due to the low memory frequencies due to stock CPU speeds. The P45 chipset is quite powerful and I suspect that its efficiencies will become even more apparent at ungodly high clockspeeds.
