Asus Rampage Extreme Review

For the stock tests the Rampage Extreme was used with the 502 BIOS. The E8400 was left at stock speeds while the Corsair PC3-14400C7 Dominators were set to 6-6-6-18-1T. It's important to note that 1T Command rate because it resulted in a huge performance boost and was the default setting. The 8800GT was left at stock speeds and the 175.19 Nvidia drivers were used. Vista Ultimate 64-bit was used with Service Pack 1 integrated. For the overclocking tests an E8600 were used while the DDR3 was relaxed to 9-9-9-27-2T timings.
