3D Mark Vantage
3DMark Vantage is the new industry standard PC gaming performancebenchmark from Futuremark, newly designed for Windows Vista andDirectX10. It includes two new graphics tests, two new CPU tests,several new feature tests, and support for the latest hardware. 3DMarkVantage is based on a completely new rendering engine, developedspecifically to take full advantage of DirectX10, the new graphics APIfrom Microsoft.
The Entry settings were used for testing, so a resolution of 1024x768 was used.
Benchmark Results: Note that the results in blue represent the Intel HD Graphics processor on-board the i5-661!
The i5-750 shows off its extra CPU horsepower here, but realistically, you would be hard pressed to be able to see a difference between the two CPU's when paired up with a fast graphics card.
