FX5200 still outselling GeForce 6 PCIe counterpart.

Despite the media attention and the success of the GeForce 6 family, it looks like the reports from this winter stating that the NV3x family moves the greatest volume of parts remains true as DigiTimes is reporting that?NVIDIA is increasing the production of the?FX5200 (no doubt to the chagrin of?many).?

Graphics chips supporting PCI Express (PCIe) have still not overtaken the NV34 chip in the entry-level segment, though Nvidia has attempted to push the PCIe standard with its GeForce 6200 graphics processing unit (GPU) with TurboCache technology
While the OEM space is nearly all but PCIe now, AGP remains very popular for the add-in card market. The article does go on to state that high end AGP parts are seeing slow down.
