Fujitsu will manufacture S3's Chrome GPU's on its 90nm process lines

Fujitsu announced that it will be manufacturing S3's Chrome processors on its 90nm process. The new GPU's apparently show up to a 75% improvement on the performance of previous S3 GPU's.

Using the Fujitsu 90nm process on 300mm wafers S3 may be able to offer a GPU that could be competitive on the low to mid end of the graphics board?market; possibly once again becoming a player in a market that is now totally dominated by NVIDIA and ATI.
