X2: The Threat

Not a big jump from any of the new Intel processors here at all, and the Athlon line is still able to top the best Intel has to offer.

3D Mark 2001

In the oldest version of 3D Mark 2001, we see the Intel 660 with a nice jump in performance over the 560, though on the Extreme Editions, the 3.73 GHz is only on par with the 3.46 GHz part.

Not much change in the status of things in the 2003 and 2005 versions of 3D Mark.  In the CPU tests, the Intel processors have a small gain on the AMD lineup with the new 3.73 GHz XE on the 1066 FSB taking the lead.
