Results - Doom 3 (DirectX 9 Benchmark)
Almost all the Radeon X800 GTO cards at the reference clock speeds scored identically for the Doom 3 benchmark. The exceptions were the higher clocked Turbo Mode HIS card and the Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO2 with 16 pipelines enabled. Both cards had a performance advantage varying from 6% to 35%, depending on the resolution and graphical settings. From this benchmark, it would seem that having more pipelines would have a greater impact on performance than slightly higher clock speeds, though of course this is not exactly conclusive.
