Batman: Arkham Asylum
Batman: Arkham Asylum is an action-adventure stealth video gamebased on DC Comics' Batman for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and MicrosoftWindows. It was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by EidosInteractive in conjunction with Warner Bros.
For our testing we set everything as high as it would go, except for Physx and NVIDIA Multi Sample Anti-Aliasing.
Benchmark Results: TheRadeon HD 5770 and Radeon HD 5750 might be at the bottom of the performance chart for Batman: Arkham Asylum, but both had great frame rates and could play the game at a resolution of 1920x1200 with ease. The BFG Tech GeForce GTS 250 OC was right in the mix though. In CrossFire the Radeon HD 5770 performed just slighty faster than a single Radeon HD 5870, which is about what we expected as both cards would have the same number of SIMD engines in this configuration.
It should benoted that even with in Batman: Arkham Asylum graphics cards running NVIDIA SLI were tested with PhysX turned OFF and ON in the NVIDIA Control Panel. This was done as even though you disable PhysX in the game the cards were still running it. The only way to make sure PhysX was disabled during game testing Batman: Arkham Asylum was disabling the feature in the Control Panel You can see how big of a difference it makes in performance.
