In addition to X850 and the X800 XL, Tul also announces the availability for a X700 AGP.The?first of several ATI items in the inbox today is a PR announcement from Tul announcing the introduction of their updated RADEON AGP lineup right on the heels of ATI who did so themselves yesterday. While ATI announced X850 and X800 XL parts, TUL is also doing a bridged X700 solution for those that are on more of a budget.
The PowerColor X700 series delivers the most beautifully rendered high-definition 3D animation for the ultimate intense, interactive game play with core/memory clock speed up to 425/430 MHz and memory up to 256MB/128 bit GDDR3 SDRAM, along with 8 pixel pipelines architecture, dual-DVI, VIVO and HDTV support. It delivers the world's most powerful and unleash the hidden visual effects performance of your favorite game, and is worthy to be considered as the most recommended mainstream AGP solution. The PowerColor X700 series will be available in the end of the first quarter of 2005.
TUL is a bit more specific on the release dates - their X850 should be available before the end of 1Q while their X800 XL part is not available till 2Q. It looks like it is the bridged parts that are not completely ready yet but ATI fans that are not upgrading to PCIe yet definitely have some parts to look forward to.
