Noise levels were measured using a Radio Shack Digital-Display Sound-Level Meter placed approximately one inch away from the front and rear of the case out of the direct path of airflow. Noise levels were measured first at idle, then again after 30 minutes of a Super Pi and Nalu load.
Up front, the TJ06 produces a little more noise at idle and load. This could be because the TJ06 has a thinner aluminum door that doesn?t suppress noise as much as the Shark's thicker bezel door, or because the TJ06 has an extra 80mm intake fan at the front of the case.
Moving around back, the TJ06 does better. At idle, the TJ06 produces more noise than the Shark, but under load, the TJ06 beats out the Shark.
