SilverStone Temjin SST-TJ06 Review
[Abstract]
SilverStone's Temjin TJ06 may not have a flashy look or blinding blue lights, but its simple and streamlined design is still very attractive. The case's smooth color transitions show SilverSto...

I used the same idle and load conditions as the noise level tests to measure motherboard, CPU, and GPU temperatures. Intel?s Active Monitor was used to obtain CPU and motherboard temperatures while the NVIDIA drivers provided GPU temperatures.
Despite the wind tunnel, the TJ06's CPU temperatures are higher than the Shark's at both idle and under load.
Moving over to the motherboard?s "Zone 1" temperature sensor, which is located next to the CPU socket, the TJ06 once again runs warmer than the Shark.
The TJ06 provides better idle cooling for the motherboard's "Zone 2" sensor, which is also near the CPU socket. Load temperatures are equal, though.
Looking at GPU temperatures, TJ06 loses to the Shark again at idle and load. From idle to load, the TJ06 jumps 20C while the Shark only jumps 15C. I suspect the TJ06's reliance on PSU exhaust fans to vent warm air from the system could be at fault here.
The GPU ambient temperature measures the case temperature around the graphics card, and the TJ06 fares slightly better here.
