With the stock Intel heat sink, the wind tunnel has no measurable impact on CPU temperatures.

The motherboard?s Zone 1 idle temperature doesn?t change without the wind tunnel. Under load, the motherboard reports a 1C decrease in Zone 1 temperature without the wind tunnel.
