Test Setup
Our PCI Express test system for this RADEON X800 XL shootout evaluation was an Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz (Extreme Edition) on an Intel D925XCV motherboard with 1GB of DDR2-533 Micron memory running in dual channel mode. The operating system used was Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 and DirectX 9.0c. All the cards were using ATI's Catalyst 4.12 and our benchmarks were the usual suspects:
