Sapphire RADEON X800 PRO VIVO 256MB
Quite literally out of the blue, Sapphire's RADEON X800 PRO VIVO graphics card was the only card that was visually unique (besides the HIS IceQ edition). Based on a deep ocean blue PCB with a matching decorative faceplate and few other visual touches, together these distinctively highlight a Sapphire product.
Sapphire's RADEON X800 PRO VIVO graphics card. Seen on the decorative faceplate is Sapphire's alien mascot. |
Like the HIS card, this is another VIVO enabled product that only adheres to its specs and has 12 rendering pipelines. The card is equipped with memory that is far speedier than necessary and there are possibilities of converting the card into a full blown RADEON X800 XT P.E., but do so only if you are knowledgeable and don't mind voiding the warranty.
The card was fitted eight of these Samsung 1.6ns memory chips that have a theoretical ceiling of 1.25GHz DDR. |
The ATI Rage Theater chip lends its hand in video capturing. |
