Results ?UT 2004, C&C: General (D3D Benchmarks)
In Unreal Tournament 2004, we reflected results from the ONS-Torlan map where performance scaling of graphics cards was better observed. Looking at the results, the RADEON X700 PRO has no problems handling older DirectX 8 only game engines even with anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering enabled. Here too PowerColor churned out reasonable frame rates, rivaling its competitors. The show stealer in UT 2004 however goes to GeCube's RADEON X700 PRO 128MB ?at least before the turbo mode is enabled for the HIS card.
Even in Command & Conquer: Generals, GeCube's RADEON X700 PRO came out tops thanks to its higher preset clock speed.
