PowerColor RADEON X700 PRO 256MB
PowerColor's RADEON X700 PRO was fitted with the exact same type of cooler found on GeCube's card and it is actually ATI's recommended cooler for the highly limited RADEON X700 XT cards. One might wonder if cards like the PowerColor and GeCube were actually RADEON X700 XT cards that didn't make the grade. Well we think we got that figured, so more news on that in our overclocking segment. On this page, we'll focus on what PowerColor had to offer:-
The PowerColor RADEON X700 PRO 256MB we received was the non-VIVO version and it looks a lot like a RADEON X700 XT. Take note that the cooler's fan noise is audible, but not to the extent of being intrusive. |

Like most of the cards in the shootout, PowerColor supplied a complete cable accessory pack and it scored high marks for that element in our score sheet. For the software side of the bundle, we found CyberLink's DVD Solution that has programs accomplishing various video related tasks from capturing, editing, authoring, playback and even DVD burning software. A full version of Hitman: Contracts game was also included in the bundle. Viewing all the supplied items collectively, we would say that it's a very decent package
