Results ?3DMark05 Pro (ver .120)
The scores without anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing at the lower resolutions resemble those we saw in 3DMark03 Pro. There were three clear bands of results, with the ASUS and Galaxy cards occupying the first tier, the Gigabyte and Inno3D cards the second tier and finally the rest of the pack are evenly matched. This distinction becomes murky at 1600x1200 though the ASUS still maintained its lead.
All the cards were unable to run at resolutions of 1280x1024 and higher when anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing were enabled. At 1024x768, the Galaxy GeForce 6600 GT emerged as the surprise leader. Despite up to five cards having the same core and memory speeds, we had some rather significant fluctuations between these five cards and even some surprises like the ASUS doing worse than the lower clocked cards. However, this scenario did not repeat itself for our other benchmarks so this could have just been a fluke.
