Overclocking
As the graph shows, the best overclocker in our roundup was the Chaintech SA6600G, which was able to reach speeds of 580/630 MHz and hence returned the highest 3DMark03 figures. In fact, it was high enough that it equaled the scores of a typical GeForce 6800 128MB graphics card!
The Galaxy, Inno3D, Leadtek and MSI cards had similar overclocking limits and gave comparable scores. ASUS may have been our performance leader in most of the benchmarks but it was unable to exceed its already overclocked default speeds by much. Going by raw clock speeds, the Gainward card had the least overclocking allowance. Weirdly, the Gigabyte card recorded the overall worst scores at 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 resolutions, though the overclocking capability in raw clock speed was decent.
